The benefits of journaling in the interest of mindfulness and personal growth are well known, so add this healthy habit to your daily self-care routine with Maple. Each journal page has room for your entry and a date. Once you start writing you’ll see a word count appears just below the entry box on the right side. Write in your Journal as often as you like. Add unique journals to keep your writing organized – keep a gratitude journal, a personal journal, even a daily writing journal. You can choose to set reminders for each Journal you keep so that Maple can help keep you on track. And Maple is built to make sure that you can journal in a secure, private, and convenient place, without worrying about prying eyes.
Maple lets you keep your favorite sources of inspiration, motivation, and contemplation, all in one place. With Maple you can attribute each quote to a person, book, movie, show, or song. There’s even room to describe the context of the Quote or the character that delivered the line, so it makes more sense later. Once you have enough Quotes, you can have Maple pick one daily as your Quote of the Day.
With Thoughts you can capture ideas and easily come back to them when you are ready. It’s perfect for when you are on the go and don’t want to forget what’s on your mind but don’t have a place to write it down. Use Thoughts for whatever you want! Authors use them to keep track of ideas for character or plot development, public speakers can jot down topics to include in future talks, teachers can keep track of thoughts on how to handle difficult topics. It’s also useful for those working on personal growth and development – quickly notate your personal goals and insights and set reminders to come back to them later.
Keep Notes in Maple while you’re reading a book, taking a course, or just going through your day and want to record something so you don’t forget it. Like everything else in Maple, Notes are a flexible way to capture what’s on your mind, wherever and whenever. Notes are great for anyone in the learning space or working on personal growth or self-improvement.
One of the benefits of journaling is the chance to think deeply (or reflect) on different topics. Sometimes we need a prompt on exactly what to bring our attention to when we journal. This is where the Reflections included in Maple are especially helpful. Reflections are meditative thought-starters in the form of questions or statements for you to consider, plus room for your reactions. Maple will automatically choose a prompt for you to respond to each time you start a new Reflection, and you can skip forward or back if you’d prefer a different prompt.
The importance of Sleep and the impact of Stress has never been more well documented. By giving you a combination package with a Tracker and Journal for each, Maple helps you understand how these two important forces are at work for you. Keep track of your stress management progress and tools with the Stress Tracker / Journal combo. Document your sleep hygiene and keep track of your dreams with the Sleep Tracker / Dream Journal combo.
